Greetings! I trust that this will find you well and in good spirits in the New Year.

Over the years I’ve come to conclude that the two biggest issues in life that we can do something
about, which get in the way of success are procrastination and fear of change. Most of us have
something we hold on to or put off doing that that hold us back, that make us less than we can be.
Something that if we will address or take on will make us a better person. That will make us a
happier, more content person.

I want to challenge you today as we are but a few days into the year, that if you are like most of
us, to take a hard look at whatever it is that you procrastinate about or perhaps fear taking on and
get on with it. Develop that hobby, lose that weight, repair that relationship, fix those finances or
paint that room. I am reminded of a quote by the French philosopher Goethe. Goethe said. “Are
you in earnest? Seize this very moment. What you can do or dream that you can do begin it.
Boldness has genius and magic and power within it. Only engage and the mind grows heated.
Begin and then the task will be completed.”

Our economy continues to strengthen and we have much room for optimism that wasn’t so
strong a year ago, because of head winds we faced. It is a great time to make sure that your
financial house is in order if you need order, or have concerns in any way. If I can help or be of
service don’t hesitate to contact me.

Happy New Year and carpe diem (seize the day)!
