Stick to the Plan

Greetings! I trust that you are well and enjoying life.

This week I want to deviate from my usual intro to the market update and the general information on finance and retirement planning that I provide. I don’t know about you, but a new norm that I am experiencing is constant negativity from the news media sources. It seems to me that rarely is any news portrayed as good news or positive for our country. Since the election ended (it is over isn’t it??), it appears that no matter whether the current administration is generating positive or not so positive actions and results, it’s all portrayed by the media as negative. Do you feel it too? And unfortunately folks, this is probably just the beginning. So from a financial planning perspective regarding peace of mind, how do we stay positive about our finances in an ever increasing negative world?

In a nutshell stick to the power of your financial plan. Stick to the order, the structure and the discipline that your plan calls for. It’s that simple. If you have a financial plan that matches who you are and where you are in life, and addresses your goals, needs and wants; that’s the best that you can do! Having the plan in place allows you to disregard the negative forces that we’re bombarded by because of the information age we live in and to instead maintain peace in what more often feels like a storm. With the right type personal planning, you’re right where you need to be, regardless of what Trump, Pelosi, Putin or the nitwit of North Korea is or isn’t doing.

Every week this information goes out to a lot of people, some are clients of Armor Financial and some aren’t. For my clients, if you have any reservations about the planning we have in place or concern about your future, call me and let’s address it. I’m here for that and await your call. And if you’re not a client and have concerns about your future especially if they keep you up at night, call us or someone who can help you to develop a financial plan. The older I get the more the old saying “life’s too short” means to me. I’ll close with it today.

Call us if you feel that we can be of service or help in any way.

Best regards.
